MY STORY
Accurate Independent Inspections • Home • Commercial • Environmental
If you're wondering . . . I help property owners understand the condition of what they are buying or selling. This goes beyond a basic inspection, to include prioritizing repairs and upgrades, and identifying moisture intrusion and deferred maintenance issues. I particularly like your challenging projects that have a "green" or historical focus. That's more fun than just being a property inspector! I love to help families learn the condition of their home. I love to teach investors how to maintain and upgrade their properties. I love to show sellers how to make their property more presentable. I love to help commercial owners discover the potential of their buildings.
I remember constructing and inspecting things since my childhood. You know the type, one of those boys who took things apart and then tried to put them back together. It didn't always work! After graduating from the University of Arkansas, I taught highschool science for ten years and taught disabled adults for eight years.
But teaching was too much talk and not enough action for me. So I took my love of carpentry full-time. I remodeled many residential and commercial properties, and then started inspecting homes in 2002. The path to becoming a Certified Inspector hasn't always been easy, but the challenge of providing inspection solutions makes it worthwhile.
When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them, "I help residential and commercial property owners prioritize repairs and upgrades, including moisture intrusion and deferred maintenance issues. And besides that, I check environmental conditions, too." That's more fun that just saying I'm a property inspector. . .
Call me, and we'll do some property detective work!
